If you are looking for an alternative to public schools in our immediate area like we were, we think you will find Foothills Academy will more than fit your expectations. We were unhappy with over crowded classrooms, curriculum not being met or exceeded, unacceptable behavioral problems not being dealt with, and inexperienced teachers who did not care about the advancement of their students. Since attending Foothills Academy we feel our child is growing into her potential and is exceeding well beyond where her last school even attempted to bring her. Her national testing scores have increased substantially. Most importantly our daughter stated, “I feel like I am now actually learning something.” We could not be happier with our daughter’s success at Foothills. The staff is very helpful and willing to work with students to meet and exceed their needs. We are confident that she will be well prepared for high school next year.

We still talk about the first time we stopped by Foothills Academy to determine if “this was the place we would send our daughter.” We were smug in our expectations as to what to expect, what did Foothills Academy have to offer our bright, resourceful, gifted daughter, could Foothills possibly match our expectations? Then we received a call from Ms. Crawford. She stated our daughter might have trouble academically. We were told there might be an adjustment period and to seriously consider whether we should send her there? We were suddenly made aware of what was to be expected of our daughter, and could she do it? The answer is yes, she did just fine thanks to all of you and her hard work. Your expectations for our daughter far exceeded our expectation of you, and we thank you from the bottom of our heart for all you have done.
As a retired attorney currently working part-time as a substitute teacher in both elementary and secondary education, I have had ample opportunity to experience and participate in the public-school education process. In my opinion, one cannot do better than Foothills Academy: The dedicated faculty members are excellent, the classes intimate (small), the students motivated. Moreover, the standardized testing results are outstanding. My wife and I enrolled our own thirteen-year-old son in this fine didactic institution, despite the daily commute from Anthem.
