First period begins at 8:00 a.m. Periods are 55 minutes long. Lunch break is from 11:55–12:20, Monday through Friday. Dismissal is at 2:30. Advisory begins at 12:20 and ends at 12:30 Monday through Friday. Half day schedule begins at 8:00 a.m. and dismissal is at 12:00 noon. Advisory/Assembly on half days begins at 10:15 and ends at 10:50.

Uniform Code

Foothills Academy has elected to require a uniform code for all students on campus, and at certain school-related off-campus activities. This code is enforced for all grades.

How did that make you feel? Has anybody ever made fun of you? How did it make you feel? Why do people make fun of others? What benefit do they derive from this? What is the Golden Rule, and how could it be applied to this situation?

Using these questions as your guide, develop an essay about what it means to treat others as you would like to be treated.
This essay is due to Mrs. Jones by August 25th.

Back to School Committee

This Committee will help organize and participate in Back to School actifvities tentatively scheduled for August 19th & 20th including a bake sale, school supply sale and PTO membership sign-ups.

Fundraising Committee

This committee will research options for fundraising. possible ideas include grants, matching funds from employers for volunteer work, anything and everything!

Teacher Appreciation Committee

This committee will help organize and participate in 2 - 4 teacher appreciation days this coming school year. This is usually a luncheon or breakfast for teachers and staff, but it is not limited to that.

Fall Fundraiser Committee

This committee will help organize and participate in a family oriented fall fundraiser including food, location, ticket sales raffles, setup etc.

Spring Fundraiser Committee

This committee will help organize and participate in a family oriented fall fundraiser including food, location, ticket sales raffles, setup etc.

Upcoming FAPTO Meeting

Don’t forget, we have one more FAPTO meeting before we take our summer break on June 8th at 8:00 am at the Carefree fire station, 37401 North Tom Darlington Drive (NE corner of Tom Darlington and Lucky Lane). Bring your own coffee and a friend…..the new board wants to meet you!!
