Foothills Academy has established a Peer Judiciary Committee composed of peer-elected representatives from each class. The Committee's mission is to rule on disputed infractions via interpretation of the Student/Parent Handbook. Rulings are subject to approval by the Director and Assistant Principal. They meet weekly for regular business and additionally, as required, for rulings. One of the PJC's many noteworthy accomplishments was the drafting of a "Student Bill of Rights." That was in 1997. The Bill stands to this day with no amendment.
