Although we do not screen prospective students on the basis of academic ability, all courses with grades below C (from previous school) must be remediated prior to enrollment at Foothills Academy College Prep. Our intention is to serve all those wishing to attend. However, individual classes and grade levels are restricted in number to enhance the academic environment. If a specific class or grade level is already at full capacity, the applicant may elect to be included on a waiting list and be notified when space becomes available.
Current students are required to re-enroll each year, and while enrollment is open, we encourage all prospective and current students to apply as soon as possible.
Foothills Academy is a public charter school and, therefore, does not charge tuition. Top-notch faculty, innovative programs and small class sizes are just three of the reasons you may have chosen Foothills Academy for your student. In order to keep our class sizes small and to retain highly qualified faculty, an annual Foothills Academy Support Fee (FASF) of $525 per student is requested. Families with two or more students enrolled or enrolling receive a discounted Support Fee of $450 per student. Additional one-time fees are required for field trips, special projects, and individual athletic team participation. Payment options are available. We rely on 100% participation.
