You Have Many Download Choices:
Depending on your operating system (Windows or Mac), installed software, computer experience, and desired format, we provide several options for downloading our Yearbook Supplement. This year’s supplement runs 22½ minutes, and all videos are 640×480, so these are large files. If you have a dial-up internet connection, plan on this being an overnight download. Peruse the choices and decide which works best for your needs.
- Sage.iso (164M) This is a disc image that can be written (burned) to a CD if you have software capable of writing to a CD, and a CD-R or DVD-R/CD-R drive. Download this file and import it into your disc writing software to produce a CD that will play automatically and display our Yearbook Supplement as a Flash animation. Flash Player is included, so no other software is required.
- Sage.zip (135M) This is a folder that contains the files and sub-folders needed to run the Flash animation, but they will not play automatically if written to a CD. They will run when you click on the PhotoShowPlayer.exe (Flash Player) file included. You will need to be able to “unzip” this compressed file. Most current operating systems (Windows or Mac) can unzip this file. If you have an older operating system, there are third-party programs available online that can “unzip” compressed files.
- photos.zip (61M) This is a folder that contains only the photographic images incorporated into the animation. There are no titles, captions, or special effects. These are JPEG images tha should open on any computer. They are numbered in the order they appear in the Flash animation. You will need to be able to “unzip” this compressed file. Most current operating systems (Windows or Mac) can unzip this file. If you have an older operating system, there are third-party programs available online that can “unzip” compressed files.
- Sage.avi (125M) This is an AVI video conversion of the original Flash animation.
- Sage.mov (483M) This is a QuickTime video conversion of the original Flash animation.
- Sage.mpg (826M) This is an MPEG-1 video conversion of the original Flash animation.
